In September 2004 report titled “No Way Out; Michigan’s Parole Board redefines the meaning of Life” on page 16 it states “Lifers who pled guilty in exchange for the supposed benefit of parolable life term argue that the board’s policy makes their plea bargains illusory and their pleas involuntary. Although these claims have been raised repeatedly, the appelate courts have not decided them yet.” 1. Since 2004, how many of these cases have been ruled on ? 2. What are some of the cases that were cites? Thank you !
